Navigating challenges, building global resilience: island solutions. We invite researchers, practitioners, and students across the island studies community to submit abstracts of original work for oral and poster presentation.

What to submit

Abstracts are submitted in English and structured into four sections: background, methods, results, and conclusions. Each section has a word limit shown on the form. Author names are removed before review, so your work is judged on its merit alone.

How abstracts are reviewed

Each abstract is assessed independently by three reviewers against six criteria. Scores are combined as a weighted average, so the criteria below carry different weight in the final result.
